<bodypara>Sired by Silverado Bey+, Scottsdale Champion Park Horse & Reserve National Champion Formal Driving and out of a Khemosabi++++// bred mare, Quickie was destined for greatness.</bodypara>
</bodytext>
<bodytext>
<bodypara>The moment his owners saw him, they knew they had to own him. They purchased Quickie as a yearling with the intention of him being their next Western Pleasure horse. Lucky for everyone, it didn't work out that way.</bodypara>
</bodytext>
<bodytext>
<bodypara>In August 2004, when Quickie was three, he was started under saddle by Lindsey Anderson-O'Keefe. His first day of being ridden, he was able to walk, trot and canter off the lunge line. It was obvious then just how smart and talented he was. The decision was made to take him along to Sport Horse Nationals. With literally 30 days under saddle, he was shown in the Sport Horse Under Saddle Jr Horse class where he was Top Ten (3rd).</bodypara>
</bodytext>
<bodytext>
<bodypara>In 2006, at his first Regionals, he was named Champion Stallions In-hand Open (high score) Champion First Level Dressage Open (high score) and Champion SH Under Saddle Jr. Horse. At Sport Horse Nationals that year, he was Unanimous National Champion Sport Horse Under Saddle Jr. Horse, Top Ten Training Level Open (4th) and Top Ten Stallions In Hand ATH (4th)!</bodypara>
</bodytext>
<bodytext>
<bodypara>In 2007, he was Region 5 Champion SH Stallions In Hand Open (85.5% high score), Champion Training Level Dressage Open (high score), Champion SH Under Saddle Open & Champion SH Under Saddle ATR. He also received an 89% at the pre-show in the SH Stallions In Hand Open with a different judge. In 2008, he won Region 5 Champion in SHIH Stallions Open (high score of 91.5% with two perfect 10's!), and Reserve Champion in First and Second Level Dressage Open. At the 2008 Nationals, Quick Silver Bey was Reserve National Champion in PB Second Level Dressage and Top Ten in First Level, SHIH Open (4th) and SHIH ATH (3rd).</bodypara>
</bodytext>
<bodytext>
<bodypara>2009 proved to be even more impressive. In March, he was hand selected by Mr. Conrad Schumacher to participate in his NW Symposium. The legendary Conrad Schumacher has coached Olympic medalist's, World and European Champions, in addition to medal winning Young Rider Teams in the United States and Europe. His students have won more than 40 international medals. Quickie is the first and only Arabian to ever be selected by Mr. Schumacher for one his Symposiums. What an honor! He continued his great luck at Region 5 where he won five Championships. SHUS Open, SHIH Stallions Open, SHIH Stallions ATH, Second Level Dressage Open and Third Level Dressage Open. He also was Region 4 Champion SHIH Stallions Open 88% (he remains undefeated SHIH Open at the Regional level) In July, he attended the Andreas Hausberger clinic. Mr. Hausberger is the chief rider at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria. He adored Quickie and schooled many of the FEI movements including piaffe/passage. To end this great year, Quickie and Lindsey will be going to California for the month of November to train with the #1 ranked Dressage rider in the world, Steffen Peters. Steffen Peters and his beautiful gelding, Ravel, have been the front runner in Dressage here in the U.S. and in Europe. Recently winning in Achen, Germany and the World Cup earlier in the year. Steffen is the first American to win both of these International events, and he won both of them in one year! </bodypara>

<bodypara>Our 2010 show season is off to a fabulous start. We started with showing at Scottsdale in February. This was Quickie's first trip to the big show and it turned out to be amazing. He was named Champion/High Point 3rd Level Dressage with an average score of 66.154% (8% higher than reserve) and he made his debut in 4th Level, where he was Champion/High Point with an average score of 63.140% (9% higher than reserve). He was also Champion Sport Horse Under Saddle Open as well as Champion Sport Horse Under Saddle AATR. To top of this spectacular show, he placed second in the Stallions In-Hand ATH where he earned his much needed last point for his Legion of Masters. He is now one of less then ten living purebred stallions with this honor.</bodypara>
</bodytext>
<bodytext>
<bodypara>With his loving disposition and unbeatable attitude, Quickie is always a crowd favorite. People are always shocked to find out he is actually a stallion. He is also passing his willingness and athletic ability into his foals. We look forward to their future success in the show ring.</bodypara>
