His sire was Ludomino and his dam was Hamsfah. He was bred by Anne Brown of Gadebrook Stud, which has produced many fine Crabbet horses through the years. He was bought by Sherry Stewart of Langley, British Columbia, Canada as a 3 year old after an exhaustive search for the Crabbet bloodlines owned by her mother during her childhood. Domino achieved status as a Canadian Trakehner approved stallion and a Canadian Sport Horse phase one approved stallion while in Canada. He arrived at his current home in Tennessee in April of 2000. Domino was put into training for dressage and breeding for the spring. Both of which he took to easily. Domino has accomplished so much in the few years we have had the pleasure of having him in our lives. He has earned 5 National Top Tens in Sport Horse in Hand and Dressage. He has numerous Regional Championships in Dressage and Sport Horse in Hand along with Regional Top 5s in dressage, sport horse in hand, and sport horse show hack classes. He earned his Canadian Sport Horse Bronze Premium status with his accomplishments in dressage. He also has many championships at the Class "A" level along with many 1st place wins. He has repeatedly been listed in the USEF Horse of the Year awards for Arabians in region 12 and 14. He has been recognized by USDF in the All-Breed Awards for Arabians in dressage. He has earned his Legion of Honor, Legion of Supreme Honor, and Legion of Excellence, which are largely based on performance. He has earned his Legion of Merit, his Legion of Supreme Merit and is started on his way to earning his Legion of Masters, the last Arabian Horse Achievement Award, these awards require points in breeding and sport horse in hand classes. Domino is the 36th purebred Arabian at this time to have won the combination of Legion of Excellence and Legion of Supreme Merit since the conception of the awards in 1992 out of 600,000 plus eligible Arabians. One of his crowning achievements was being recognized by the Arabian Horse Owners Foundation as a "Living Legend" and participating in the Arabian Horse Celebration in Denver Colorado. The award was made even more special by the presence of Anne Brown, his breeder all the way from England. Domino took the whole experience in stride as usual. Loving every minute of the attention, especially from the kids. Domino has offspring winning at the National Level, Regional Level, and class "A" level in both Arabian and open Competition. He just recently had a purebred mare, Miss Special Magic, approved into the American Trakehner association.This along with his 4 Star approved foals into the warmblood association shows his ability to breed quality outside the purebred market. His foals are always complemented on their wonderful attitudes, gaits, confirmation, and heart.
