In 2004, he was named Australian National Champion himself. He was imported the same year by Al-Marah Arabians for use as an outcross stallion due to his three lines to Oxford Decimus, a bloodline they had experience with in the past and found to be an asset in their breeding program. Saying he is the epitome of what a sport horse should be, Al-Marah manager Jerry Hamilton says, "Andy’s strongest feature is his uphill and forward movement, which comes from the back end. He is able to elevate when he goes forward." Having won the 2006 National Championship in Arabian Sport Horse In Hand Stallion both Open and ATH, with Reserve going to stablemate AM Power Raid, Andy proved he has what it takes. He also won Reserve Supreme Champion Sport Horse In Hand. That same year, Andronicus went Top Ten in Halter at the U.S. Nationals and Canadian Nationals, proving that an exceptional horse can do both. Andy started his performance career in 2007, winning 2 Regonal titles in Western Pleasure Junior Horse. His third foal crop is due this year. Although his offspring are very young, they are winning in the show ring already.
